Performing in the entire cycle of development of injection molds and devices!
Sulbras is able to provide technical assistance and act in the entire development cycle of injection molds and devices, from simultaneous product engineering, mold design and construction to simulations and approvals of production process capacity.
To do so, it has a Mold and Device Technology Center located in Caxias do Sul-RS, an important metal-mechanic center in Brazil, in a new industrial park with more than 4,000m² with updated machinery and equipment, and a highly qualified team.

Quality in tooling
Our commitment to the development of products and solutions with technology and quality, added to the management of processes by the technical team that interacts closely with customers, in order to ensure the development and delivery of molds that meet highly complex technical requirements, so as to add value to the final product for the customer.
The quality area in tooling uses equipment and procedures of international standards, such as
- Dimensional control (optical, MMC, measuring arm with scanner)
- Thermography studies;
- PPAP;
- MAS;
- APQP;
- FMEA;
- Pp;
- Ppk.
Machining and manufacturing
After the mold design is approved, it is directed to our machining and manufacturing team, which follows the entire mold construction process, following strict dimensional criteria and high complexity technical requirements to ensure the reliability of the production process.
Management processes for monitoring the construction phases and the industrial park in a constant process of continuous improvement and technological updating, guarantee the delivery of molds made with high precision and technology, in addition to a complete park of machines and equipment for machining and adjustments, such as:
- CNC machining centers;
- High speed CNC milling machine;
- Electro-wire;
- Electro erosion;
- Lathe;
- Grinding machines.
Engineering and projects
In search of continuous improvement of its processes and to offer complete solutions to our customers we have a technical team of engineering and projects, which are able to act in the entire process of development, design and construction of the mold, with the management and implementation of activities such as:
- Design and manufacturing of molds and devices up to 7 tons;
- Product review design
- Mold concept study with robust lessons learned system
- 3D modeling of the mold (Solidworks);
- Mold flow mpa simulation studies.
